With the iPhone Pro's LiDAR, RoomMap draws your whole room — walls, doors, windows and furniture — at a precision of ±5–10 cm. Enough to know whether your sofa fits in the new living room, or to send a sketch to your designer.

During the scan you see the timer and a tip that rotates every eight seconds so you know where to look. No menus, no settings: turn it on, aim, move.

Save as many homes as you own or look after. Each with its floors — basement, ground floor, first floor, attic— and its named rooms inside: living room, kitchen, main bedroom, guest bathroom. They live on the iPhone and survive closing the app.

Scan the first room. Then the hallway. Then the kitchen. Each new room joins the previous ones automatically — no manual alignment, no map rotation, no plan dragging.

When you're done, you see your whole home from above: the kitchen meets the hallway, the hallway meets the living room, the living room meets the terrace. Wall lengths sit on top of each stroke, and the furniture stays where it really is.

And if your rooms need a nudge, tap into place mode: one finger drags the selected room, two fingers rotate it, and on release it snaps automatically to the neighbor's wall — magnetic snap under 60 cm.

If tomorrow you renovate the kitchen, you scan just that room and RoomMap fits it back into the home's plan. Your home lives with you — you never start over from scratch.

Split, rescan, fix. Without losing your work.

One scan caught two rooms as one. Draw a split line at any angle (horizontal, vertical, diagonal) — the app suggests one aligned with the door that used to divide them. On confirm, two new rooms, each with its own name.

A room came out half-baked. "Rescan" reopens the scanner: the new geometry replaces the old, but keeps its name, its position in the plan and its split if it had one.

A railing came out as a wall. RoomPlan classifies any vertical plane as a solid wall, so on terraces railings end up drawn too. Long-press the wall and mark it as railing — thin dashed line — or hide it. Ideal for terraces and open balconies.

The plan is alive: pinch to zoom (anchored to what you're looking at, not the origin), drag to pan, tap two points and the exact distance between them appears, in meters to two decimals.

Every wall already shows its length on the stroke. The ruler is for the rest: where you're going to put the piece of furniture, how much clearance you have between sofa and table, whether the new fridge fits between counter and wall.
