RoomMap is an app made by one person. If something isn't working, if you have an idea, or if a scan didn't come out how you hoped, drop us a line.

Requirements

RoomMap needs LiDAR to work. LiDAR ships on iPhone 12 Pro / Pro Max and up (every Pro and Pro Max since 2020), and on the iPad Pro from 2020 onward. You need iOS 17 or higher.

If you open the app on an iPhone without LiDAR, you'll see a screen telling you so and won't be able to scan. You aren't charged anything.

Does scanning work offline?
Yes. RoomMap is 100% offline. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud.

Is my home saved on any server?
No. Everything lives on your iPhone. No account, no password, no cloud.

One scan caught two rooms as one — how do I fix it?
Swipe the room in the list → "Split". Draw a split line on the plan and confirm. Two new rooms are generated, each with its own name.

A railing came out as a solid wall — how do I fix it?
RoomPlan classifies any vertical plane as a wall. Long-press the wall on the plan and choose Railing (thin dashed line) or Hide.

Can I share a plan over WhatsApp?
Yes. Tap share, pick the scope (room / floor / home) and format — PNG and PDF travel through any chat, USDZ opens straight in 3D with AR.

How much does the Pro version cost?
€9.99 (launch price until Christmas — €14.99 after that). One single payment, no monthly fee. It unlocks unlimited homes and rooms, every export format, and removes the watermark.

How do I restore my purchase on a new iPhone?
Open the app and tap "Restore purchases" on the RoomMap Pro screen. With the same Apple ID you get the unlock back without paying again.

A piece of furniture that should be there isn't showing up
If you hid it by accident, go into the room's settings → "Restore hidden furniture". They'll come back.
