Data that RoomMap does NOT collect

We do not log or transmit to any server: your name, email, password, phone number, GPS location, contacts, photos from your camera roll, or any advertising identifier.

RoomMap does not include third-party analytics (Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, etc.) nor any tracking SDKs.

Camera and LiDAR

RoomMap uses your iPhone / iPad's camera and LiDAR sensor to scan rooms, generate plans, and calculate measurements. The camera video is NOT recorded or saved: it is processed in real time by Apple RoomPlan and only the result is kept (geometry of walls, doors, windows, and furniture).

The first time you open the scanner, iOS will ask permission to access the camera. You can revoke that permission at any time in Settings → RoomMap → Camera.

Data that RoomMap does store (locally)

The app stores in your iPhone's sandbox only:

• The plans you have created (names, geometry, measurements, cover photos you add).
• Exported files that you have not yet deleted.
• Your Pro purchase status (via Apple StoreKit).

These files are copied along with your iPhone to your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled — that is an encrypted copy managed by Apple; RoomMap plays no part in it.

In-app purchases

The Pro version is handled through Apple StoreKit. When you buy Pro, Apple records the transaction against your Apple ID (outside of RoomMap). We only receive a signed receipt from Apple that says "this user has RoomMap Pro". We do not know your Apple ID, your email, or your payment method.

Sharing plans

When you tap "Share", the iOS share sheet lets you pick the recipient (WhatsApp, Photos, Mail, AirDrop…). RoomMap only generates the file; you decide where it goes. Nothing is sent anywhere automatically.

Minors

RoomMap is rated 4+. We do not collect any data, so we do not collect data from minors either. Parents can restrict in-app purchases using Apple's Screen Time.

Changes to this policy

If anything changes one day (for example, if we add features that involve data), we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
